And with that, the Crufts 2024 season comes to an end…

It’s hard to believe that after months of preparation here at Christies HQ, we find ourselves back in the office after another fantastic Crufts. As our biggest retail show, it’s one of the highlights of my Christies calendar every year, and the team and I love nothing more than getting to meet all of our lovely customers face to face (as well as lots of furry friends too!).

We actually had our first Crufts prep meeting back in October(!) and our team has been working tirelessly to pull together the stock, promotions, staff, and videos to make it our best show yet. A special shout out to our Warehouse Manager, Neil, who absolutely went above and beyond with the show prep this year, and celebrated his 10th Crufts!

 


As ever, our team started set up on the Tuesday before the show began, with a team of 5 building the stand from the ground up. By Wednesday evening, everything was in position and ready for our customers to start visiting the stand from the beginning of the show on Thursday morning.


We had 11 fabulous team members join us this year, as well as Brand Reps from Wahl and Andis. We were also lucky enough to be joined by Kitty and Kitty from TransGroom, our lovely Product Reviewer BA Leona, and the fantastic Michael Shiels who was on hand to help customers choose the right scissors. 5 Crufts in, I can say that without a doubt it’s one of the best teams we’ve ever had, and we had an absolute blast chatting to our customers, recommending products, and seeing their gorgeous dogs!



Our 2024 Catalogue was launched at Crufts (yay!) – we had so many people asking if we were planning to bring out a catalogue this year, and our team were delighted to see the 2024 catalogue in print at the show. You might have noticed this year that we’ve done more promotional videos than usual, and our team had the best time filming lots of fun content before and during the show. Our focus was on the Customer Care team a.k.a the faces behind the phones, and we look forward to filming lots more exciting content throughout the year. Watch this space!
