Andis blades are super reliable all-rounders. We have several different length blades from Andis and never had any issues with them. With proper care they stay sharp so long, we've had our blades for a year now and only had to have a few of them sharpened.

Bought this for my poodle cross who has very soft curls that Matt easily. This blade glides through them. I will order a number 2or 3 for a closer cut but this one is perfect for cooler seasons. Very happy.
